After I install Log Window 4.1 SP0 and I try to run Log Window I get an error: "The application has failed to start because wsapi32.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem"

This was an oversight on our behalf in the setup program.  Please download the current setup build (4.1 SP0 rev:10)

How can I manually remove Log Window

  1. To manually remove Log Window 4.1 perform the following steps...
  2. Backup any data files (log files) you wish to keep.
  3. Using File Manager delete the application directory (earlier installs put log window in c:\logwin directory).
  4. Delete c:\Windows\LogWin.ini
  5. On your "Start Menu", under "Programs", Right Click the "Log Window" group folder.  Select "Delete".
  6. From the "Control Panel" select "Add/Remove Programs".  Locate "Log Window", select "Uninstall".  A dialog will pop-up stating that "Log Window" can not be found and will ask to remove the entry from the list, select 'yes'.

Log Window doesn't seem to be working with my radio

If you are having problems making Log Window work with your radio, that Log Window supports, please contact SCO Technical support.  Please provide the Make and model of your radio as well as the version of Windows you are running and the Com Port you are trying to us.

If you have a radio that is not in our list of supported radios, please let us know the make and model of the radio and we will see about adding the support.
